Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
Jeremy Majors
UW-Milwaukee, Jr., Jonesboro, Ga.
Majors broke the school 800m record and qualified for the NCAA Regional last weekend at the Billy Hayes Invite. He ran a time of 1:48.97 for third overall in the event, while he was the top collegiate finisher. It beat the previous mark by 0.05 seconds, while eclipsing the qualifying standard (1:50.40) by 1.43 seconds.
Marcia Faustin
Loyola, Jr.,
Faustin shattered her previous school record in high jump at the Billy Hayes Invitational last week. She posted a leap of 5-08.75 to finish second in the event and claimed the top spot in the Horizon League this season. With the mark, Faustin also qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional later this month in

Cook gave the UIC men's track and field team its highest individual event finish at the Wisconsin Twilight on Saturday by placing fourth in the 100-meter dash, posting a time of 11.02.
Satara Freeman
Freeman ran a winning time of 14.25 in the 100 hurdles and placed third in the 400 hurdles (1:07.03) to pace the women's squad at the Campbell/Wright Open. Her time in the 100 hurdles was just .02 off her personal-best time, which ranks first in the Horizon League this season.
Tenia Fisher
UW-Milwaukee, Sr.,
Fisher broke the school record in the 400m, while competing at the Wisconsin Twilight last weekend. She ran a first-place time of 54.80 to top the previous standard of 54.81 and win the event. The time was also a personal record of hers by 1.24 seconds. During her senior year, she has now broken the school mark in each of her five indoor and outdoor events.
Idara Essien
Essien gave the UIC track and field team its lone event title at the Wisconsin Twilight on Saturday, winning the triple jump with a leap of 11.66m.
Jennifer Williamson
Williamson was 5th in the 100-meter hurdles on Friday at the UT Rocket Open in a season- best time of 15.54.
Andrea Karl
Karl finished second in the 1500 meter race at the Paddock Invitational with a time of 4:28.97.
