Sanders helped lead the Phoenix to a dual meet win over Western Illinois last Friday by posting a pair of individual wins. Sanders won the 400-yd individual medley in a season-best time of 4:18.46 and the 200-yd backstroke in 2:01.81. He was also a member of the 400-yd medley relay team that finished second behind a group of Phoenix teammates in a time of 3:44.32.
Mary Beth Arnold

Arnold posted a season-best time of 5:04 in the 400-yd. IM and placed 2nd in the 100-yd. breaststroke Friday against Xavier. She followed that performance with a second-place performance in the 100-yd. IM Saturday at Ball State with a time of 1:05.
Heidi Goetsch

Goetsch played an important role in helping the Panthers to their win over Western Illinois, winning two individual events. She won the 100 freestyle in a time of 55.39 and the 200 freestyle in a time of 2:00.25. She then anchored the 400 freestyle relay team to a win in a time of 3:43.96.
Brittany Senn
Youngstown State, So., Hinkley, Ohio
Senn won two individual events and anchored the winning 200-yd freestyle relay as YSU defeated Denison 132-109 Saturday afternoon at the Beeghly Natatorium. She won the 50 free with a time of 25.29 and the 100 free in 55.16.
Andrea Giczewski
UIC, So., Livonia, Mich.
Giczewski picked up two wins against Iowa on Saturday, winning the 50-yd freestyle with a career-best 24.76 and later picking up the 100-yd freestyle victory with a personal-best 53.03. The 100 free time was just .3 off the school record

Lionell swam to a win in the 200 breaststroke against St. Francis on Jan. 26 with a CSU season-best time of 2:27.19. She also registered a second-place showing in the 50 free (25.41) and swam the breaststroke-leg for the winning 400 medley relay team (4:07.54).

Kelly Reese won the 3-meter board with a collegiate-best score of 241.30 and the 1-meter with a tally of 230.15 against Denison on Saturday.
Sarah Economides

Economides placed second on the one-meter board with a team-leading 269.10 and completed her day with a third-place 272.85 against Iowa.
Four Horizon League Swimmers Among Nations Best
Four Horizon League swimmers rank among the nation's best, according to CollegeSwimming.com. Bjorn Schantz and Pieter Pelser of Cleveland State University, Wright State University's Elvis Cirikovic and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Lindsay Caldwell all rank among Division I's top performers in the their respective events. Schantz leads all Horizon League swimmers with national rankings in three events: the 200, 500 and 1650 freestyle. His time of 15:50 in the 1650 free ranks 69th, while his times of 4:31.79 in the 500 and 1:39.89 in the 200 are 88th and 95th, respectively, Pelser and Caldwell own spots on two lists apiece, with Pelser holding down 64th-place in the 200 backstroke (1:49.40) and 69th in the 100 back (50:21). Caldwell sits at 45th in the 100 free (50:58) and 57th in the 50 free with a time of 23.48, while Cirikovic rounds out the group ranking 51st in the 50 free with a time of 20.48.
