Horizon League Men's Swimmer of the Week
Mike Conroy
UIC, Junior, Hoffman Estates, Ill.
Conroy won the first individual event of his collegiate career with a time of 2:01.56 in the 200-yard IM against Eastern Illinois. He also set a career-best with a 5:04.04 time in the 500-yard freestyle. He was also a member of the second-place 300-yd butterfly relay team at the Northwestern Relays.
Horizon League Women's Swimmer of the Week
Danielle DeGrand
UW-Green Bay, Freshman, Green Bay, Wis.
DeGrand claimed victory in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:32.11 in a Horizon-League match-up with Cleveland State. She also recorded wins in the 200-yard freestyle (2:12.07) and as a member of the victorious 400-yard freestyle relay (3:38.98). DeGrand also swam a leg on three third-place relay squads at the Northwestern Relays (800 free relay, 8:02.14; 1500 free relay, 15:55.94; 400 medley relay, 4:08.35).
Horizon League Men's Diver of the Week
Phillip Zumstein
UW-Green Bay, Jr., Mundelein, Ill.
Zumstein continued his impressive start to the season, easily winning the 1-meter board competition with a score of 278.10 and the 3-meter board with a 241.88 total in a Horizon League-opening duel at Cleveland State last Saturday. He also helped lead the Phoenix to a first-place finish at the UIC Diving Invitational Sunday by winning the three-meter title with a score of 278.55.
Horizon League Women's Diver of the Week
Emily Duesler
UW-Milwaukee, Junior, Middelton, Wis.
Duesler helped lead the diving team to a first-place finish at the UIC Diving Invitational where she placed third on the one-meter board and fourth on the three-meter. Her 237.60 points in the one-meter event was a career-high. Duesler finished third on the three-meter board and fifth in the one-meter event versus Northwestern.

Mark Pappalardo
UIC, Jr., LaGrange, Ill.
Pappalardo earned a victory on the one-meter board against Eastern Illinois with a score of 258.40. He also placed second in the three-meter at EIU, and third (233.90) in both the one-meter and three-meter (250.20) events at the UIC Diving Invitational.
Raj Duggal
Butler, Jr., Columbus, Ind.
Duggal posted the best Butler result at Saturday's season opening meet, winning the 1000-yd freestyle with a time of 10:15.76. He also placed third in the 200-yd fly with a time of 2:06.23
Dave Duecker
Cleveland State, So., Cedarburg, Wis.
Duecker swam to wins in the 200 IM (1:58.54) and the 200 fly (1:56.16) to help the Vikings to a Horizon League win over UW-Green Bay. He also added a top time in an exhibition showing in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:09.01.
Tim Watt
UW-Milwaukee, Sr., Waukesha, Wis.
Watt earned second in the 100 free versus No. 13 Northwestern on Friday and was also a part of the wining 400 free relay. He also placed fourth in the 200 free with a time of 1:48.25.
Jeff Jasinowski
UW-Milwaukee, Sr., Bayside, Wis.
Jasinowski won the three-meter event and took second in the one-meter board versus No. 13 Northwestern on Friday, then finished second in the one-meter (235.30) and fourth in the three-meter (239.10) at the UIC Diving Invitational.

Andrea Giczewski
UIC, So., Livonia, Mich.
Giczewski won two events at Eastern Illinois on Saturday, taking the 50-yard free in a career-best 24.90 while winning the 100-yard backstroke in 1:01.47.
Sarah Economides
UIC, Jr., Downers Grove, Ill.
Economides won the one-meter board at Eastern Illinois with a score of 231.98 and went on to lead the team on the one-meter (222.30) and three-meter (212.20) at the UIC Diving Invitational. She finished fifth and eighth, respectively, in those events.
Mary Beth Arnold
Butler, Jr., Indianapolis, Ind.
Arnold placed second in the 200-yd breaststroke (2:28.50) and fourth in the 200-yd IM with a time of 2:19.89 at Butler's season-opening meet.
Kirsty McKechnie
Cleveland State, Sr., Durban, South Africa
McKechnie swam to a win in the 500 free (5:15.19) and added a second-place showing in the 1,000 free (10:46.76) with a career-best time of 2:29.36.
Lindsay Caldwell
UW-Milwaukee, Jr., West Bend, Wis.
Caldwell won the 50 free (24.60) and finished second (2:25.14) in the 200 breaststroke in a meet against Northwestern on Friday. She was also a part of the 400 medley relay team that finished second. At the Northwestern Relays, Caldwell was a member of the third-place 400 free and 200 free relays teams.
